Accepted Contributions for the Conference of the United Kingdom Academy for Information Systems (UKAIS) 2021  [07.04.21]

We are pleased to be again represented at the conference of the UK Academy of Information Systems (UKAIS) in Oxford, UK from March 23rd to 24th, 2021, with a total of four contributions.

Stefan Ullmann is presenting the Contribution "Teaching and Learning During the Pandemic – Investigating Lecturers’ Experiences in Higher Education" which he wrote together with Konstantin Knaus, Andreas Schmid and Prof. Mareike Schoop. In the contribution, the use of digital learning tools at universities during the corona pandemic was examined based on quantitative and qualitative data collection.

Andreas Schmid presents a contribution written together with Oliver Kronberger, Niklas Vonderach and Prof. Mareike Schoop with the title "Are you for real? A Negotiation Bot for Electronic Negotiations". The contribution presents the design and evaluation of a prototype for negotiation agents, in which the communication quality of negotiation agents in electronic negotiations is increased through the use of bot technologies.

Josepha Witt presents a contribution with the title ”When is Blockchain Technology Valuable? – A State-of-the-Art Analysis“. Based on a literature analysis of articles that propose criteria for the suitability of blockchain technology for an application, research problems are identified and a research agenda is presented.

Marlene Meyer is presenting a contribution written together with  Prof. Mareike Schoop and Prof. Dominik Schoop with the title "Systematic Comparison of Methods in Threat and Risk Analysis of ICT Security in Industry 4.0". In this article, based on literature research and criteria catalogues, threat and risk analysis from IT security were compared and evaluated for applicability in Industry 4.0.

Furthermore Marlene Meyer will present the contribution "Negotiation Strategies in Electronic Negotiations" as part of the Doctoral Consortium. This article describes the intention for agent-based negotiation training of negotiation strategies.
